i don't usually do this sort of thing--it's against my policy...i just made all that up, but something to that effect. i suppose i can make an exception for my childhood friend i've known since he was born. so, free advertising: check out sam's blog.  i'm excited about it, as i think it will be consistently pretty funny and engaging.  if he remembers to write--so all of you encourage him to!
